Account Types

Basic

Used by students and by those exploring Conversation Builder without an email or ACTFL Online account.

Learner

Used by language learners
for personal or classroom
use. A registered email address is required. Passwords are reset by the individual.
SCHOOL-PROVIDED
STUDENT ACCOUNTS RESTRICTING EXTERNAL EMAILS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

Participant

Used by teachers, students who are actively engaged in language learning, and those who support a language learner, such as tutors, teachers, coaches and parents. An ACTFL Online account is required.

Full

Used by those who want no restrictions. An ACTFL Online account is required. A subscription purchase must be made through the ACTFL Store.

If you already have an ACTFL Online account, use those credentials to login. You do not need to create a new account.

 

Please read the descriptions of each account type before you register an account. Click on the account type that best fits your needs. If you are a teacher, don't select the Basic or Learner account.

Log in with your ACTFL Online account credentials. If you don't have an ACTFL Online account, create one. It is free.

 

If you are a teacher, please set your status as "Teacher" in your ACTFL Online profile. See instructions on the tutorials page.
